  • Teenage dogs: Big emotions, selective listening, boundary testing, and reactivity
  • Rescue, foster & newly adopted dogs: Decompression, settling in, and building trust

"Bianca truly gets to the root of the problem."

"Hands down, Bianca is the best and most experienced dog trainer on so many levels--she's more than a trainer--she truly gets to the root of the problem. We've worked with several trainers over the years, and we've never had one with such an incredible disposition and strong animal behavior acumen. Her feedback, tips and overall approach made everything feel achievable. The analogies Bianca uses truly help things click—we finally understood the why behind the training. We've always felt overwhelmed by dog training in the past, but this was easy to grasp, practical, and made complete sense. She's made our home of four dogs much more pleasant and calm!"

"She'll set you up for long-term success."

We spoke to several dog trainers before closing Bianca. We had an amazing experience with her. She's so calm and gentle. She doesn't just explain how to address certain issues (for us it was leash reactivity)...she addresses the core problem. She wants to understand the background/history of your dog so she can approach training respectfully. We loved each training session, and she was always so organized, following up with notes and clear steps so my family could learn everything that she taught our dog and me! This was immensely helpful. She also teaches you in a very practical, real-life way. I've recommended her to several friends who have hired her. You can't go wrong with Bianca! She'll set you up for long-term success.

"Without Bianca, I wouldn't have dared to keep him—today we cuddle all day long."

We live in England and recently adopted a new dog from Romania, Moss. We immediately fell in love with him, but we definitely underestimated how overwhelmed he would be and how much we would struggle. We had some unpleasant situations at home (fights, etc.) because the dogs didn't get along at all, Moss was constantly in pain, and was afraid of other people... and honestly, we were also completely overwhelmed. Bianca led us through everything and accompanied us step by step. She looked at Moss as a whole. She took his pain into account, his disability, his past, his breed, and his body language. She showed us how to slowly bring our dogs together—to read them, build trust, find a routine, and structure. She didn't just understand Moss's fear but mine too. My partner could be near him, but he had bitten me 3 times, so every bit of contact was difficult for me. After every conversation with Bianca, we felt heard, strengthened, and hopeful. Today we are a team and work together with our animals with structure. Moss and Lili are friends now, and Moss and I cuddle all day long. I believe that without Bianca, I wouldn't have dared to adopt Moss permanently and would have turned away this wonderful, loving dog.

"The trainer we'd been searching for—finally."

What a blessing to be able to work with Bianca! She is the trainer we have been searching for!! She has a deep knowledge of herding breeds (how and why they do the things they do, and how to set them up for success so they can be their best selves). She took the time to get to know my sensitive Border Collie and me, understand his current challenges, and then tailored his training based on his and our family's needs. I've seen such a difference in his disposition since putting the techniques and protocols in place that Bianca taught me. My relationship with him surely strengthened during this training series! I can't thank her enough for what she has taught me, and I hope many others will benefit from her teaching!

Common questions to help you feel confident about the next step.

How do I know if this is the right fit for us?

Choosing the right support for your dog matters—and with so many approaches out there, it can feel confusing.
That’s why I begin with a short introduction call. We’ll talk through your goals, your concerns, and what you’re hoping for and see whether my approach feels aligned for your family.

Is my dog too reactive, too old, or too far gone?

In most cases, meaningful change is still possible. Progress doesn’t depend on perfection — it grows through understanding, consistency, and support tailored to your dog’s needs.

What if I don’t have time to train perfectly?

Most of my clients are surprised that training doesn´t take as much time as they think. We focus on realistic strategies that you can implement regularly and consistently and that fit your schedule-

How soon will we see progress?

Most clients see shifts within the first 2 sessions, with others it takes longer. It depends on several factors, such as the dogs age and history, your consistency, and the environment.

How long does training take?

My personalized training programs range from one to three months in duration. The first session of each program lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes a home visit, a detailed consultation to identify your unique challenges and goals, and a thorough behavioral assessment of your dog. Subsequent sessions typically run about 60 minutes (+/- 10 minutes, depending on your dog’s focus, your questions, and other factors). Training sessions are typically 1-2 per week, depending on your schedule and goals.

What makes your puppy different from puppy classes?

We go beyond basic commands. Our focus is on nurturing your puppy’s confidence, emotional balance, and trust while guiding you to feel confident and supported as a pet parent. We build strong real-life skills that benefit you and your dog for a lifetime. Puppies get personalized attention, and every plan is designed around your home, your schedule, and your goals—so you always know the next right step.

Does virtual training & behavior consulting even work?

Yes! Virtual consulting lets us see your dog’s behavior where it actually happens, so we can tackle real-life challenges effectively—no matter where you live. Many clients love it because you become the trainer—our focus is on teaching you skills so your dog responds to you in everyday life, not just during a video call.

Can the whole family be involved?

Yes. Consistency across the household helps dogs feel secure and understand expectations. I can include partners, children, or caregivers as needed.

Can we ask questions in between sessions?

Absolutely—yes, please! All one-on-one training programs include text and email support throughout the week between sessions. Your clarity and success are my top priorities. You’ll also receive a personalized training plan to guide your progress.

I’ve worked with other trainers before and didn’t see the change I wanted. Is Dogfulness different?

That’s a valid question. Every trainer works differently. Some approaches focus primarily on obedience and compliance. Others rely on correction-based methods. Dogfulness is different.
I don’t use fear, intimidation, or aversive tools. My work centers on understanding your dog’s needs, supporting a calm and regulated nervous system, and coaching you just as much as your dog. Because lasting change doesn’t come from fear — it comes from clarity, trust, and consistency. Many of my clients come to me after trying other programs and are looking for something more sustainable and relationship-based. My goal isn’t just better behavior. It’s a safer, more connected life with your dog.
That said, I’m not the right fit for everyone—and that’s okay. We usually determine alignment during the introduction call or first session. If I’m not the best match, I’m happy to refer you to trusted professionals in my network across the U.S. and Europe.

Do you use prong collars or e-collars in certain cases?

Nope. I believe every behavior has a reason—dogs aren’t “misbehaving” on purpose; they’re trying to communicate that something is off. My focus is on understanding their needs, teaching new coping and communication skills, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog. I use positive reinforcement behavior modification techniques that help dogs feel safe and supported. I do not use aversive tools like prong collars, shock collars, or choke chains.

How is your approach different from traditional training?

Rather than focusing only on obedience, I look at the whole picture — behavior, emotional regulation, environment, and family dynamics. The goal is lasting change, not quick fixes.

What is your professional background?

Your dog’s future matters. I am a certified professional dog trainer and completed an intensive one-year training program in Germany. This comprehensive education included domestication, ethology (behavioral science), anatomy, pathology, and science-based training methods.
Over the past 13+ years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience working in a variety of training settings with a wide range of dogs and behavioral challenges.
Unlike in many countries, the dog training industry in the U.S. is largely unregulated, meaning anyone can claim to be a trainer without formal education.
I believe learning never stops and remain committed to ongoing education and staying current with the latest research to provide the best possible support to dogs and their owners. In complex cases, I collaborate with or refer to veterinary behaviorists to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to behavioral care.
