When I began my journey as a dog trainer back in 2013, I didn’t think much about “business values.” I was focused on connecting with dogs, honing my skills, and doing work that felt meaningful. But over time — through countless sessions, unique clients, and life transitions — I came to realize something: values are the backbone of everything I do.

They shape how I work, how I communicate, and how I support both dogs and their humans. They help me show up fully, day after day. And most importantly, they help my clients understand what to expect when they invite me into their lives and trust me with their dogs.

There are a lot of trainers out there, each with different methods and philosophies. That’s why I want to be clear about what I stand for — so you know exactly who you’re working with and what kind of experience you can count on.

Here are the core values that guide Dogfulness Holistic Dog Training:

1) Honesty & Integrity
I’ll always be real with you. You can count on honest communication, transparency, and a commitment to doing what’s truly best for you and your dog.

2) Commitment to Excellence
I’m always learning and growing—because every dog is unique, and there’s always more to discover. I regularly invest in furthering my education, stay up-to-date with the latest research, and collaborate with trusted professionals in the field. If I ever feel your dog (or you!) would be better supported by a specialist or another expert, I’ll be honest and refer you to someone I trust. You deserve the best care for your unique situation —and sometimes, excellence means knowing when to bring in a teammate.

3) Whole-Dog, Long-Term Focus
I am not here for quick fixes—I’m here to help you create real, lasting change. That means we’ll look at the whole picture: your dog’s history, daily routines, exercise & emotional needs, environment, stress levels and more. I’ll teach you how to truly understand your dog on a deeper level—so you can notice subtle changes early, prevent problems from growing, and confidently support your dog through life’s changes. My goal isn’t just to “solve a behavior.” It’s to help you and your dog thrive together for the long haul.

4) Connection First
I’m here for the whole team—not just your dog, but you, too. With a background in both dog behavior and coaching humans, I care just as much about how you’re feeling throughout this process. I want our work together to feel supportive and empowering. Training works best when we’re all on the same page—so I’ll always make space for questions, real talk, and learning together.

5) Kindness, Always
Training doesn’t have to feel heavy, judgemental, or stressful—it can be kind, supportive, and even fun.
You and your dog are welcome exactly as you are. My job isn’t to criticize or make you feel like you’ve done something wrong—it’s to support you with real talks, kindness, and tools that truly help.
Training should feel good. I believe connection and a bit of humor are just as important as the techniques we use. We’re here to learn, grow, and enjoy the process—together.

I genuinely love what I do, and these values are a big reason why. They help me show up with consistency, heart, and purpose — and they’re the reason I get to work with some of the most thoughtful, dedicated dog parents out there.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect. Whether you’re just starting your journey with a new puppy or navigating challenges with your adult dog, you don’t have to do it alone.

Let’s build something beautiful together — for you and your dog.

"Bianca truly gets to the root of the problem."

"Hands down, Bianca is the best and most experienced dog trainer on so many levels--she's more than a trainer--she truly gets to the root of the problem. We've worked with several trainers over the years, and we've never had one with such an incredible disposition and strong animal behavior acumen. Her feedback, tips and overall approach made everything feel achievable. The analogies Bianca uses truly help things click—we finally understood the why behind the training. We've always felt overwhelmed by dog training in the past, but this was easy to grasp, practical, and made complete sense. She's made our home of four dogs much more pleasant and calm!"
